This print is part of my Wild Blueberries Collection - where I showcase a selection of 5 abstract blueberries found on the side of a hiking path.
A soft yet fiercely courageous painting - perfect for any room.
Layers of boldness and quiet bravery.
She will remind you to come back to your self — to find the confidence you seek. When you surrender to that intuitive thinking. Good things will come.
About The Wild Blueberries Collection
When I was a child I remember our imagination was infinite. Teachers encouraged us to be and do whatever we wanted.
We were given the space to create in a structured format with art class and music class. Which I loved!
As we get older it feels like imagination gets squashed from reality, failure, and other adult things(aka adulting).
To the point of forgetting what it feels like to break free and be unrestricted to reality.
While traveling in Ashland, Oregon I was hiking and came across some wild blueberries. I was fascinated to see them in the wild. As I have never seen them here in southern Wisconsin.
I decided to interpret them even more wild by totally abracting them into a freeing form.
I believe abstract art gives a starting point of a feeling but it’s up to the viewer to fill in the blank with a memory or intention.
This collection was made to spark that freeness of being whoever you want.
